Swancar Farm Country House Wedding
A gorgeous Swancar Farm Country House windy winter wedding
In the late winter, I assisted Jo to shoot this lovely wedding at Swancar Farm Country House. I captured the Groom prep before driving over to a local church where the couple got married. Groom prep with brothers and friends is pretty hilarious! Plenty of teasing and the odd beer for a bit of dutch courage. Luckily they kept the banter clean in my presence and the mood was cheerful and full of excitement. Once ready with a quick pit stop at the bar downstairs and drove the short distance to the local church. It certainly was a windy and cold day but that did not disrupt celebrations and wedding confetti being thrown. Always a good thing! After, we all hopped back over to Swancar Farm Country House to enjoy the rest of the wedding! The styling at the venue was gorgeous, especially the flowers supplied by Frond & Bloom.
There are many places for lovely photo opportunities for a wedding at Swancar both inside and out! It's well-styled and outdoors there are some great spots with lush backdrops. Smoke bombs are always a good idea here too, it's secluded so no-one will bat an eyelid. A tree in the front of the house features padlocks of all past wed couples - it's an adorable idea. I am looking forward to being back here soon to photograph a wedding where people relax and have fun. Let's face it, nothing really beats a wedding photo where you can see everyone having fun!
