Hi, I am Gina, Most people call me G.

I am the person who notices things. The way someone’s face changes when they see you. The friend holding everyone together from the back of the room. The laugh that comes from nowhere and loosens the whole place up.

I love weddings for the exact reason they are hard to explain. It is one day, but it contains years. Family history, friendships, new chapters, old chapters, and that strange feeling of time moving too fast while you’re still inside it.

That is why I care about this work the way I do.

I am based in the East Midlands but travel across the U.K for love.

I believe wedding photographs are not content. They are for later. For the years when life moves on and you want to come straight back to how it felt, not only how it looked.

On the day you will find me calm, warm, and very good at reading a room. I will keep things moving when they need momentum and I will never make your wedding feel like a photoshoot. You do not need to be good at photos. You just need to be yourselves.

I care about what is real and I care about what is beautiful. I am intentional with light and composition, but never at the expense of feeling.

Alongside digital, I also shoot 35mm film for couples who love that timeless, tactile quality, and I offer highlight films for those who want to experience the day in movement and sound too.

“Not only is she hilarious but puts you at ease straight away, her relaxed documentary style captures people at their best, laughing and full of emotion, as well as knowing what and who is important on the day."

  •  SARAH & TOM, STAMFORD

“Gina captured our day perfectly - natural and beautiful wedding photos! She is so much fun and becomes very much a part of your guests and day. We could not be happier! “

  • EMMA & DALE, RUTLAND

“We are in absolute AWE. The photos capture the feel of our day perfectly. Every photo takes you back to a specific moment in time. When a photo makes you feel as happy as in the moment it was taken, you CANNOT put a price on that!”

  • JACK & JOCE, LONDON

“OMG! OMG! OMG! WOW, just wow! We are blown away!! The photos are just so beautiful! We will treasure every single photo and will look at them a million times!”

GET TO KNOW GINa

A bit of life, because you are trusting me with yours...

Home is in Rutland, in the East Midlands. I live with my husband, two kids, and Frodo, a Labradoodle who goes by Friddle Froddle Frodo depending on how long his fluffy coat has grown. He is obsessed with croissants and will position himself directly in front of your face to catch the crumbs. We don't stop him.

I am drawn to work that is honest and human, probably because day to day life is exactly that. Beautiful, chaotic, funny, emotional, imperfect.

Being invited into a wedding is a privilege. It is intimate, it matters and I don’t take it lightly.

I was born and raised in London and moved to the picturesque county of Rutland in 2014.

I have travelled a fair few places in the world. The last count was 90 cities in 23 countries.

Before life as an East Midlands Wedding Photographer

Before wedding photography, I was a primary school Deputy Headteacher in Essex. I cared deeply about that job, and I gave it everything.

Then I had my children, and life shifted. Photography found me again through them. Taking pictures of my own family quietly became the thing that brought me back to myself. A friend asked me to photograph her family, then another, then weddings arrived, and I never looked back.

Sometimes I wish I started years earlier but mostly I am incredibly grateful I listened when it pulled me in.

Shall we talk…?

If you have read this far, you probably already know.

You are not looking for someone to show up and press a button. You are looking for someone who gets it, gets you, and will be fully present for every bit of it. I’ll capture it candidly as it unfolds, with calm direction when it helps, not constant posing or awkward interruptions. Think genuine laughter, quiet in between moments, joyful tears, the energy of your people, and the rhythm of the day as it actually felt.

I photograph weddings across the UK. Rutland, Leicestershire, London, and anywhere the right day takes me.

Tell me about yours.

A true reflection of the love and energy that makes your wedding yours.
