Hi, I am Gina, most people call me G.

I am the person who notices things. The way someone’s face changes when they see you. The mate who turns a quiet corner into the best two minutes of the night. The friend who grabs the mic before anyone's ready. I’m talking loud tables, best men who cannot read a script and don't need to, and the girls who light up the dance floor.

I love weddings for the exact reason they are hard to explain. It is one day, but it contains years. Family history, friendships, new chapters, old chapters, and that strange feeling of time moving too fast while you’re still inside it. Weddings with real energy are the ones I built this business for. Not staged, not stiff, not a room full of people waiting to be told what to do next. I want the ones where everyone actually knows everyone, where the dance floor fills before the first course is cleared, where you can feel the day picking up speed as it goes.

I am based in the East Midlands but travel all over the U.K. for this love.

Your photographs aren't content for someone else's feed. They're what you'll pull up in ten years when you want to remember. For the years when life moves on and you want to come straight back to how it felt, not only how it looked.

On the day, I keep pace with the room. Sharp, fast, impossible to miss on the dancefloor and nowhere near your eyeline when it matters. When things need momentum I bring it. When your people take over, I get out of the way and let them. You do not need to be good at photos. You just need to be yourselves.

I care about what's real as much as what's beautiful. Alongside digital, I photograph on 35mm film for couples who want that tactile, timeless feel, and I offer highlight films for the ones who want to relive the movement, not only the stills.

Get to know Gina

A bit of life, because you are trusting me with yours...

Home is in Rutland, in the East Midlands. I live with my husband, two kids, and Frodo, a Labradoodle who goes by Friddle Froddle Frodo depending on how long his fluffy coat has grown. He is obsessed with croissants and will position himself directly in front of your face to catch the crumbs. We've given up stopping him.

Day to day life in this house is loud, chaotic and full of people talking over each other, which is probably why I'm drawn to weddings that are exactly the same. Being invited into one is a privilege. It's intimate, it matters, and I don't take it lightly.

I was a contestant on 'The Chase' in 2019. One thing off the bucket list ticked off!

I was born and raised in London and moved to the picturesque county of Rutland in 2014.

I have travelled a fair few places in the world. The last count was 90 cities in 23 countries.

Life before being a Wedding photographer

Before this, I was a primary school Deputy Headteacher in Essex. I cared about that job and gave it everything I had.

Then I had my children, and everything shifted. Photography found me again through them, quietly at first, then all at once. A friend asked me to photograph her family, then another, then weddings arrived and I never looked back.

Nearly a decade in now, I've photographed loud marquees and quiet gardens, weddings across the U.K. and the thing that's never changed is what I chase: the energy in the room, not the pose in front of it.

Alongside weddings, I host ‘The Unfiltered Lens’, a podcast for creative business owners in the wedding industry, mentor other wedding photographers, run online communities for photographers, and have spoken at industry conferences on building a photography business with heart.

A true reflection of the love and energy that makes your wedding yours.

Shall we talk…?

If you've read this far, you probably already know.

You're not looking for someone to turn up and press a button quietly in the corner. You want someone who matches your pace, who's already grinning before the doors open, who'll capture the version of your day that actually happened, loud bits and all. Genuine laughter, the mate who can't hold it together during the speech, the moment the whole room stands up at once.

I photograph weddings across England, from village churches to London hotels, wherever the day takes me.

Tell me about yours…
