Dried Flower Dream Wedding at Aswarby Rectory

Jake and Jess’s April wedding at Aswarby Rectory was a unique blend of rustic charm and heartfelt moments, all brought to life with stunning dried flowers. As a second shooter for the day, I had the pleasure of capturing this laid-back, fun-loving couple’s special moments, from Jake getting ready to the Jake & Jess’ evening dance under the disco ball and moonlight.

The Wedding

The day started with a relaxed atmosphere, as friends and family mingled, setting the tone for the celebrations. The ceremony was a beautiful and emotional affair, with Jake and Jess exchanging vows amidst an array of beautifully arranged dried flowers. Their love for each other was palpable, bringing tears to many eyes.

Photos with their 4-legged love

Post-ceremony, we gathered for group photos by one of the venue’s charming old brick walls. The rustic backdrop perfectly complemented the dried flower arrangements, creating timeless photographs.

As the sun bathed the venue in spring light, we took advantage of the picturesque tree-lined road outside Aswarby Rectory for couple photos. Jake and Jess's playful and affectionate nature shone through, making each shot a delightful capture of their joy and love. A special guest, their beloved dog, joined us for some heartwarming couple photos. Including their furry friend added a personal and touching element to the day, highlighting the couple’s relaxed and genuine approach to their wedding.

The evening was filled with laughter and tears during the speeches, as stories were shared, and emotions ran high. Jake and Jess’s wedding was a perfect celebration of love, family, and joy, set against the beautiful backdrop of Aswarby Rectory. The bride wore a romantic A-line gown cascading with floral details from All Who Wander, perfectly complementing the elegant and understated style of Aswarby Rectory, a stunning Georgian house wedding venue ideal for intimate weddings. The bridesmaids added a touch of sophistication in their chic black dresses, contrasting beautifully with the bride’s attire and the vibrant dried flowers.
