Black and White Wedding Theme
Modern monochrome is a wedding trend that will not date. You just cannot beat a black and white themed wedding and the creative collaboration of Faye from 'Wild Calligraphy', Georgina from 'Two Eight One' & Sophie from 'Gigil and Bloom' got together to show you how it can be done.
Faye & Georgina wanted to show couples how to create a luxurious modern wedding by sticking to a simple classic palette of black and white. Georgina used a mix of geometric decor, crystal cut glasses and elegant candles to dress the tables. I loved the plates! They were off white speckled with black and the black cutlery was a chic touch. Faye alternated black and white card for the place names with names written in stunning calligraphy. The floral arrangements were kept simple, with white roses as well as using dried grasses and flowers which had been painted black. My favourite part of the display was the geometric terrarium containers and glass bottles which Faye had carefully written on in calligraphy. She is a wizard with a pen! They were used to cleverly display table names and the seating plan - a unique touch! Big thank you to Ruby for getting her little black dress on and just showing how sophisticated and elegant a black and white wedding can be.
