Pre-wedding shoot at Exton Park
On a rare spare Saturday during peak wedding season, I met Danielle and Chris for their pre-wedding shoot at Exton Park in Rutland. This epic venue is where they get wed in the not too distant future! We summoned our inner 'Dora the Explorer' and clocked up the 'fitbit' steps around the grounds at Exton Park. Along the way there were plenty of piggybacks, jumping and possibly a little twerking, from Chris. There may have been the odd kiss and cuddle to make it just a tad romantic. Just a smidge - they are getting married after all.
Exton Park
Whilst there we bumped into Viscount Campden and discussed wedding plans.....and fishing spots. He lives in Exton Hall so just to put it into perspective, we were pretty much having a walk in his garden on a Saturday afternoon. The sunken garden has had a gorgeous spruce up and I was plotting my wedding photo spots for the day. There are far too many! These two will be getting married at the church on the Exton estate and then on to a short walk down to their marquee in Exton Park for their reception which will be a unique affair with plenty of fun, games and a bake-off challenge which I cannot wait for. These two, as I discovered on the shoot, L.O.V.E a challenge and are pretty competitive.....asking them to make each other laugh by only using their eyebrows became pretty....intense (hahaha!!)
I met Chris and Danielle at a wedding fayre over 10 months ago and soon after discovered we are practically neighbours. They live approximately 5 minutes down the road from me! Over the months we have had a good old giggle and have become friends. I absolutely cannot wait, cannot wait, to shoot their wedding. I hear I may have to get involved in some limbo dancing....bring it on guys, bring.it.on.
It was such a fun pre-wedding shoot at Exton Park! Want to see more pre-wedding photography sessions in Rutland? Then have a look over at the pre-wed shoot that took place at Rutland Water, or perhaps the one at Barnsdale Gardens. Want to know what a pre-wedding shoot is and why you should have one?
