Northamptonshire Wedding Photography: Pre-wedding shoot at Dodmoor House
Louise and Matt get married in 60 days and we decided to mark the occasion with a pre-wedding photo session at their chosen wedding venue: Dodmoor House. It's a beautiful intimate barn wedding venue in Northamptonshire, a county I cover for wedding photography. Dodmoor House has been on my bucket list of venues to shoot at. Why? Because its a venue covered in fairy lights! And I loooove fairy lights and adore SHINY stuff, much like the crab out of Moana!

We really got to explore the Dodmoor House area, something which Louise and Matt relished the opportunity to do. When you're wedding planning, sometimes, you can be caught up with all the details that you miss the chance to really explore and take in where you're getting married! Dodmoor House is really a quaint and intimate wedding venue in Northamptonshire - it's a red brick barn with plenty of space around to explore. This is just what we did whilst shouting at each other for much of our conversation (but only because we happened to be near a Dirt bike rally that day). We took a walk down by the canal, chased a bird and discovered the largest mushrooms to mankind - okay, perhaps just the largest mushrooms that I have ever seen. Though I think the highlight of the day had to have been Matt's trampoline skills. So let's see what we got up to.....
The countdown is on for an autumn wedding in Northamptonshire
Pre-wedding shoots can on occasion take place at your wedding venue as we did here at Dodmoor House wedding venue in Northamptonshire. It allows us to talk and visualise your wedding day as we explore. You can also point out the spots you really love. This is exactly what Louise, Matt and I did. We also spoke about how different it would look come the autumn time when their wedding comes round. I cannot wait! Not only are the colours of Autumn my absolute favourite of all seasons...but the twinkly fairy lights that will shine in the early autumn evening will look uber pretty. Louise & Matt, thank you both for being sooo relaxed during your session. You guys were absolute naturals!
