Best of 2019: My top 10 blog posts

fun wedding photographer

So, what have you guys enjoyed reading and seeing from me? Well, many of my blogs this year have been inspirational pieces for those planning a wedding as well as taking a look at real weddings I have photographed. I still have a handful of real weddings from 2019 to share and shall do over the next few weeks so keep those eyes peeled to find out more about some of the weddings I have photographed this year. I will be sharing real weddings from popular East Midlands wedding venues such as Dodmoor House, The Granary, Irnham Hall, Bassmead Manor Barns to name but a few. You’ll see what to do if it rains on your wedding day, how to keep guests entertained on a wedding day and some pretty awesome dance moves too.

However, in the meantime, let’s take a look at my most popular blog posts of 2019. If you haven’t had a chance to read them yet, why not grab a coffee and take the plunge now? Simply click on the heading.

My Top ten blog posts of 2019 were:

#4: Aswarby House Wedding.

I second shot (which basically means I was hired as a second pair of camera eyes for the day) a wedding at this stunning country house venue earlier in Spring this year. This wedding was also featured in Save The Date wedding magazine (a great source of wedding inspiration for weddings in the East Midlands) due to the gorgeous styling from the day. I am itching to shoot another wedding here soon so if you are getting wed at Aswarby Rectory in Lincolnshire and are after a photographer…well you know where I am! See more here.

#6: A geometric styled wedding at The Pumping house, Ollerton.

This was the first styled shoots I had ever been a part of. It was an awesome way to kick off the year and a place where I met some fab photographers who I now call friends and colleagues! This is a great one to read if you’re after a wedding which is modern, urban and just down right cool. See more here.

And finally, #10: Top tips for the camera shy when getting married.

I am all about natural wedding photography, just like my clients. It’s top of their list and often the reason I am chosen over other wedding photographers. However, we all get nervous in front of the camera, it’s completely natural. Many find these 5 top tips I wrote very useful and a great read before their big day.
