Barnsdale Lodge Hotel Wedding Photography, Rutland Wedding Venue
I had the pleasure of meeting lots of brides at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel at a recent wedding fayre and showing off my wedding photography. So many brides, grooms and even pets, wondered through eagerly making plans for their big day. Many who I spoke to were planning to have their wedding at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel and its so easy to see why! It has that charming stone cottage type look typical to the historic buildings in Rutland, with beautiful well tended outside space. It is definitely the place where you can put your wedding stamp on it and enjoy the outdoors for a summer wedding. The fact that its a short few minutes away from Rutland Water means you can also easily hop over there for more wedding photos! So, with Rutland water on its door step, historic charm and plenty of green space – it pretty much is a a perfect backdrop for a summer wedding.
Barnsdale Lodge Hotel wedding fayre
The wedding fayre took place in the banqueting suite (also referred to as ‘The Barn). This is the room that many get wed in and have their wedding reception, if they choose to get married at this venue. It’s roomy, full of twinkles and easy to personalise. At the wedding fayre there were photographers (me, with my usual colourful display!), venue dressers, glorious cakes, cheese delights, wedding entertainment, musicians and both bridal and groom wear. I think many couples that came walked away pretty much with their wedding sorted! I met some fab brides, and their families, who were on the same wavelength as me when it came to their photography. Natural, vibrant photos which told the story of their day. I was beaming with the fact that many considered photography high on their list and wanted to invest wisely in this part of their wedding and I couldn’t agree more. After all, photos of the memories you make on your wedding day, last a lifetime.
It was great to meet wedding suppliers that I have previously met (as well as worked with) before, and of course, meet new suppliers! We’ve all given each other a follow on Instagram too! We wedding suppliers do like to build a network with each other and I am huge supporter of local businesses. If you are looking for a recommended supplier, do get in touch. I do have a few recommendations of local wedding suppliers of people who I know, trust and have seen beautiful work from.
And, of course, a big thank you to all the couples that stopped to talk to me! It was a pleasure to meet you all and some of you I shall be seeing you again soon to talk more about your big day. If you are getting wed at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel then do get in touch to talk about your wedding photography here.
